Anykščiai is a Lithuanian resort located in the north east of Lithuania. It is 110 km away from the capital city Vilnius. The town of Anykščiai, situated at the confluence
of the Šventoji and Anykšta rivers, is renowned for its high mounds, rich cultural heritage and lovely countryside.Anykščiai town offer wide range of tourism attractions: Alpine coaster on Kalita hill is welcoming everybody for an adventurous ride from the hill. This attraction is so far the only one such in Lithuania and is open in all seasons and in any weather. Dainuvos Adventure Park - easy and complex ladder tracks from tree onto the tree. 6 tracks of different complexity up to 13 meters high. Every visitor can choose a route according to his/her own physical abilities. Anykščiai cart track welcomes extreme driving admirers. Entertainment driving with karts, bo-karts, extreme driving lessons with own cars. Corn Labyrinth - labyrinth is a tricky fun experience field not far from Anykščiai. Every year it has a shape of some well know Anykščiai cultural object. Trips by the narrow gauge railway train Siaurukas. Narrow gauge railway is one of the biggest and most valuable cultural heritage objects in Lithuania. Over a hundred year old Anykščiai narrow gauge railway heritage now is presented in a museum. Here you will be able to visit and see locomotive Kukuška what has been made in Škoda factory, to visit and sit in a chair of railway station chief and also try to ride handcar and tricycle on a rail. The treetop walking path which is going through Anykščiai wood is the only such path in the Baltic countries and even in the Eastern Europe. The path curves 300 m through treetops and lead to 35 m high viewing tower, from which you can look over fabled Anykščai wood, admire bend of Šventoji river and take a walk through trees canopy. Boulder Puntukas - natural and cultural heritageis located in the Anykščiai woods landscape reservation. This is the second largest boulder in Lithuania. Puntukas is 6.9 m long, 6.7 m long, and 5.7 m high (1.5 m from the ground), and weighs 265 tons. It is a Rapakivi granite (structural variety of granite) clod brought by glaciers from Finland 14-20 thousand years ago during the last glacial period. Puntukas is interesting to visitors not only as a spectacular geological monument or a mythological boulder surrounded by legends, but also as a place for commemoration of the legendary pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas. TERRAIN AND MAPS:TAKAS 2016 will take place in typical Lithuanian spruce tree forest with undergrowth. Dominate middle landforms. Middle density of paths and rides. All maps are made in 2015 - 2016 using new orthofoto and Lidar materials.

*After 15 June, late entries will be possible only for vacant places. SportIdent electronic punching system will be used. Only H/D8 class will use mechanical punch. SI card rental fee - 0,3 /day for H/D10-18 classes, and 1 /day for remaining classes 20% discount for families with 3 and more persons (necessary to note it in entries). 20% discount will valid if 3 or more persons from one family take part in all competition days. Family is person with his/her parents and children. School age participants must pay H/D10-20 start fee, regardless of which course they participate in. The changing of the class is considered as new registration. Registration cancellation: till 19 June 2016 - 100% refund, from 20 June 2016 - 50% refund. Event camping will be situated in Anykščiai town camping "Po žvaigždėm", together with event centre. Camping address: Tako str. 2, Anykščiai. Accommodation in own tents and own caravans.

H10-14,D10-14 groups participants who were registered in advance and participate in all 4 courses will be awarded only on the last day. All H/D8 groups participants who were registered in advance and participate in all 4 courses will be awarded by special medals. |
